About the Role
Insomniac Design is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join their agile, innovative team. This role will lead manual testing and automation of testing processes, working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze requirements and develop test scenarios
- →Monitor automation results and prepare comprehensive reports
- →Provide support for testing documentation
- →Create automation testing strategies and plans
- →Conduct code reviews of automated tests and infrastructure
- →Develop and maintain complex automated test scripts
- →Manage and configure test environments
- →Integrate automated tests into CI/CD processes
- →Evaluate and implement automation tools
- →Review automated test code and infrastructure
- →Optimize automation test performance
- →Identify and resolve issues in the automation process
- →Participate in QA process improvements
- →Develop quality assurance KPIs
- →Collaborate with other departments to ensure product quality
- →Develop high-quality deliverables to support customer requirements
- →Interact with clients and stakeholders regarding automation testing
- →Participate in project planning from a QA perspective
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer
- ✓2+ years of work experience in an Agile Scrum environment
- ✓Comprehensive knowledge of test concepts across all stages of the software development lifecycle
- ✓Comprehensive knowledge of test automation processes for APIs, SDKs, and tools such as Cypress, Postman
- ✓General knowledge of at least one database management system (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- ✓Experience working with web services and microservices (REST services)
- ✓Proficiency with software management systems (JIRA preferred)
- ✓Robust analytical and organizational skills
- ✓Excellent English speaking and writing skills
