About the Role
Instacart is seeking a Finance Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves building critical data pipelines and models that support financial reporting and analysis across the company. You will work closely with various teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain high-quality, scalable data pipelines for financial data.
- →Collaborate with accounting, billing, and revenue teams to support financial reporting.
- →Work with product teams to capture critical data for financial use cases.
- →Ensure data immutability, auditability, and quality.
- →Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience in Data/Software Engineering with a focus on data pipelines.
- ✓Expertise in SQL and Python.
- ✓Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data technologies.
- ✓Strong sense of ownership and ability to balance urgency with quality.
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
