About the Role
We are a rapidly growing fintech startup seeking a Cloud Native Backend Engineer to join our team. You'll help build our next-generation information and data processing software products, starting in finance and capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to define cloud-native backend systems and requirements
- →Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with a focus on cloud architecture
- →Write clean, well-tested Python code (with opportunities to use Go or Rust)
- →Deploy and operate production systems on AWS
- →Use Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud resources
Requirements
- ✓Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Self-driven learner with interest in cloud infrastructure and backend engineering
- ✓Python experience is required
- ✓Hands-on experience with AWS
- ✓Experience with Docker and containerized applications
- ✓Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
- ✓Basic to intermediate Kubernetes knowledge
- ✓Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Loki
