About the Role
We are looking for a quantitative developer to join Intropic, a fast-moving fintech startup. You will work with financial data and build products for traders and researchers, owning end-to-end problems across research, data, and product.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with product managers, research analysts, and engineers to define project scope and deliver technical solutions
- →Maintain and improve Intropic’s financial-data products, from backend services to client-facing features
- →Design, implement, and ship clean, well-tested Python code and reusable libraries
- →Build and maintain data processing pipelines for large financial datasets
- →Build production REST APIs and data services, and analyze large relational datasets with SQL
- →Deploy production-quality code to cloud infrastructure and own the release process
- →Work with analysts to operationalize quantitative research and ensure reproducible results
Requirements
- ✓STEM graduate (or final-year student) with demonstrable coding ability
- ✓Strong Python skills; other OOP languages like Java or C++ are a plus
- ✓Practical experience with SQL and relational databases
- ✓Comfortable with command line and modern version-control workflows
- ✓Strong communicator, able to explain technical work to both technical and non-technical audiences
- ✓Independent, self-driven learner who takes ownership and works across disciplines
- ✓Familiarity with automated testing and software engineering best practices
