About the Role
We are looking for an AWS Developer to join our Risk Technology team. This role involves major transformation projects focused on building a modern, scalable risk platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Building key risk technology components
- →Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services
- →Build and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Charts
- →Develop automation scripts and backend services using Python and Boto3
- →Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
- →Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams on cloud strategies
- →Interface with senior stakeholders in Risk Management and across the firm
- →Contribute ideas and best practices to the Risk Technology group
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development
- ✓Strong expertise in AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Charts for container orchestration
- ✓Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS SDKs like Boto3
- ✓Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- ✓Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation
- ✓AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification
- ✓Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- ✓Experience in market or credit risk
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
