About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects that support the plant’s Compelling Business Need (CBN) targets, including zero safety incidents, zero quality losses, cost savings, efficiency improvement, 100% customer service level, and strong employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead projects end-to-end, from concept to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in scope
- →Leverage the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) to drive disciplined execution and continuous improvement
- →Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure measurable operational impact
- →Develop strong leadership capabilities to support sustainable plant performance
- →Drive Safety Health and Environment culture through role modeling behaviors
- →Ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards & policies in own projects
- →Manage contractors in the work area, preparing permits and reviewing risk assessments
- →Drive Quality culture through role modeling behaviors
- →Ensure project designs and execution include Good Manufacturing Processes
- →Responsible for pre-engineering scoping, costing and capital expenditure request document preparation
- →Give regular stakeholder updates on project progress
- →Engage and communicate with all relevant associates through the project lifecycle
- →Produce tender documents for suppliers to ensure competitive bidding
- →Prepare and issue relevant documentation such as drawings, cable schedules, and commissioning documents
- →Manage orders through SAP, from raising POs to checking invoice discrepancies
- →Commission installations with the project team and suppliers
- →Ensure relevant handover documentation is in place
- →Create appropriate training material with SMEs, Training Coordinators, and the Organizational pillar
Requirements
- ✓Experience in project management with a focus on manufacturing or industrial environments
- ✓Strong understanding of Safety Health and Environment requirements and legislation
- ✓Knowledge of Quality requirements and Good Manufacturing Processes
- ✓Proficiency in project planning, costing, and capital expenditure processes
- ✓Experience with tender document preparation and supplier management
- ✓Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., SAP)
- ✓Strong leadership and communication skills
- ✓Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage contractors
