About the Role
We are looking for a Software Development Manager to join our team at Jane. This role focuses on building and managing the Jane Developer Platform, which enables third-party technology partners and Jane teams to build integrations and extensions that expand what Jane can do for practitioners and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- βDrive the technical direction for how third-party developers and partners integrate with Jane
- βDesign and implement APIs and data contracts that power extensibility across the product
- βMentor developers and champion architectural best practices
- βCollaborate closely with PMs, designers, and cross-functional teams
- βHelp shepherd Jane's transition toward platform thinking
Requirements
- βA university degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, plus approximately 5+ years of experience
- βSignificant depth at the senior level with demonstrated ability in leading technical design, architecture, and delivering medium to high-complexity projects
- βExperience coaching and mentoring junior and intermediate developers
- βA proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges
- βAdaptability to learn new technologies and contribute across domains
- βChampion AI adoption within the team by introducing relevant context engineering patterns
