About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our small, distributed team at FlySto. Our product allows pilots to store and analyze flight data from different perspectives on web and mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities
- →Guide a small team of product designers, ensuring team productivity and high-quality results
- →Own the design direction and lead large-scale initiatives from vision and strategy through execution
- →Take ownership of the design process hands-on – from research and problem framing to creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- →Collaborate with product managers, developers, researchers, and stakeholders to define problems and align on goals
- →Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and the team
- →Conduct and analyze usability testing and user research to create design solutions based on real user needs
Requirements
- ✓Proficiency in Figma
- ✓Ability to apply an existing brand’s visual language consistently within product interfaces
- ✓Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and explain thought processes
- ✓Realistic understanding of your strengths and areas for growth
- ✓Ability to participate actively in product discussions and cross-functional collaboration
- ✓Ability to guide tasks end to end, from design solution through implementation and user feedback
- ✓Comfort working in a highly iterative environment and adapting solutions as the product evolves
