About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Android developer to join our Kotlin Multiplatform Tooling team at JetBrains. This role focuses on improving Android tooling for Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose inside IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- →Improve our Android tooling for Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose inside IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio.
- →Help make the Android plugin available for IntelliJ IDEA.
- →Write high-quality code and documentation.
- →Maintain quality by participating in code reviews and improving test automation.
- →Be an active participant in team discussions, decisions, and planning sessions.
Requirements
- ✓Have a strong professional background developing real-world Android apps.
- ✓Display excellent programming skills in Kotlin or Java, with a thorough understanding of algorithms, data structures, and thread-safe programming.
- ✓Have a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and community.
