About the Role
This role will lead hiring for the Technology business unit at JioStar, responsible for delivering a hiring volume. The Director Talent Acquisition will work closely with business and HR teams to provide strategic and operational support, leading and executing against talent acquisition needs and delivering world-class candidate and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Translating business needs into strategic and executable staffing plans for one large/complex or multiple business segments or sub-segments/functions
- →Establishing long-term partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders
- →Providing strategic direction and consulting to the business regarding talent marketplace trends, competitive intelligence, and recruiting trends
- →Partnering with sourcing for advancing and executing sourcing and networking plans aligned to business deliverables
- →Leveraging advanced talent profiles, behavioral interviewing, and assessments for informed talent decisions
- →Negotiating offers and communicating important employment information to candidates
- →Effectively articulating the business case for diversity and driving a diverse slate
- →Leading and executing recruitment strategies independently with key partners
- →Coaching new hiring managers on recruitment process and expectations
- →Participating in or leading work streams for designing solutions across multiple sites and segments
- →Providing Talent Acquisition expertise during organizational change and redesign
- →Leveraging advanced data and analytics for workforce plans
- →Leading a team of recruiters and coordinators
Requirements
- ✓Postgraduate or graduate in HR or Psychology preferred
- ✓10+ years of experience as a talent acquisition expert with prior team management experience
- ✓Experience hiring across functions such as Product & Engineering
- ✓Demonstrated experience in providing strategic direction and consulting to business regarding talent marketplace trends
- ✓Working experience in advanced sourcing, behavioral interviewing, and assessments
- ✓Experience with advanced hiring practices, social media, networking, and TA tools
- ✓Experience in designing innovative recruitment strategies
- ✓Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous setup
- ✓Ability to solve complex problems and work independently
- ✓Strong networking and communication skills
- ✓Ability to draw insights from data and leverage storytelling effectively
- ✓Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
