About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join a team in Denmark. This role focuses on designing and building large-scale, mission-critical backend systems for enterprise network discovery and automation. You will contribute to redesigning core platform components and work with modern distributed systems and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services for large-scale network data discovery, processing, and analysis
- →Contribute to architectural redesign of core discovery systems, including parallel-processing and scalability strategies
- →Lead migration of backend services to containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- →Define and implement deployment, scaling, and reliability strategies for production systems
- →Write high-quality backend code using Node.js and TypeScript, with opportunities to work in Go
- →Collaborate with backend, frontend, and network engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
- →Improve system performance, observability, and resilience through monitoring and optimization
- →Integrate and maintain messaging, caching, and database components like RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of professional experience in backend engineering with focus on distributed systems
- ✓Proven ability to design, implement, and operate scalable and resilient backend architectures
- ✓Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Node.js or Golang, with understanding of clean code principles
- ✓Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Good understanding of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, routing, and protocols
- ✓Self-driven and autonomous working style with strong sense of ownership and accountability
- ✓Passion for robust system design, performance optimization, and technical excellence
- ✓Experience with microservices architectures and production-grade backend environments
