About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Principal Engineer to lead the development of innovative manufacturing technologies that enhance system performance and operational efficiencies. This role focuses on advancing automation within the food industry and beyond, collaborating with teams to create strategic roadmaps and foster external partnerships for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the development and implementation of breakthrough technologies with a focus on robotics and digital tools.
- →Research and adapt new technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
- →Analyze operational data to discover new automation opportunities.
- →Develop strategic roadmaps to deliver significant technological advancements.
- →Provide technical support for troubleshooting control systems.
- →Identify and evaluate cost-effective technology opportunities for development.
- →Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and IT to align on project initiatives.
- →Engage with equipment vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- ✓8+ years of experience in electrical/control system design.
- ✓Minimum 5 years in Consumer Products with experience in FDA or USDA regulated environments.
- ✓Experience in both tactical and strategic project leadership.
- ✓Demonstrated success in the commercialization of new automation technologies.
- ✓Proven experience in building and maintaining external partnerships.
