About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on designing and scaling backend systems that play a critical role in securing modern software ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs that support high-performance security solutions
- →Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define architecture, requirements, and technical trade-offs
- →Optimize system performance, scalability, and security through clean code, reviews, and best engineering practices
- →Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime and operational risk
- →Contribute to system evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives across the backend stack
- →Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- ✓At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development for scalable, production-grade systems
- ✓Strong proficiency with Node.js and backend application development
- ✓Solid experience working with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- ✓Familiarity with cloud-based environments and microservices architectures
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for clean, maintainable, and secure code
