About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented software engineering team across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and manage the software engineering team across multiple offices, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards
- →Mentor engineers, set clear performance expectations, and support professional development
- →Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution for software and embedded systems projects
- →Establish and maintain software development processes, tools, and best practices to drive efficiency and quality
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers, to deliver integrated solutions
- →Identify opportunities to improve team capabilities, processes, and project outcomes
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- ✓7+ years of experience in software and hardware engineering roles, preferably in aerospace, industrial automation, or robotics
- ✓5+ years in progressively responsible software engineering leadership positions
- ✓Hands-on experience leading teams in software development and embedded system design
- ✓Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC, CI/CD, SecDevOps) and associated toolchains
- ✓Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- ✓Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders
- ✓Experience managing project risk, including scope creep and technical challenges
