About the Role
The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role on the Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team at JumpCloud. This position is responsible for driving core reporting, dashboard, and analytics for the company. You will support stakeholders across various business units and partner with technical teams to create impactful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate and drive large, impactful projects involving data visualization, data analysis, and data curation with involvement across various stakeholders, business units, and technical partners.
- →Own the outcomes of the analytics initiatives you’re leading.
- →Gather requirements and provide actionable recommendations to business stakeholders that are seen routinely at an executive level.
- →Mentor and grow the other analysts in the group.
- →Support team's project management, strategic decision-making, and long-term planning.
- →Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and data governance.
Requirements
- ✓3–5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
- ✓Advanced quantitative experience, SaaS industry preferred.
- ✓Advanced analytical skills and a passion for data storytelling and quantitative analysis.
- ✓Proficiency in one or more business Intelligence / data visualization tools; Tableau experience highly preferred.
- ✓Strong mentoring skills.
- ✓Advanced knowledge and experience in SQL and relational databases; Snowflake experience highly preferred.
- ✓Strong attention to detail and desire to learn.
- ✓Effective stakeholder management skills and communication skills.
- ✓Experience with Data Governance best practices.
- ✓Competency with scripting languages such as Python (Jupyter, Pandas, Numpy) and/or R (tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot2) a plus.
- ✓Effective project management and organizational skills; Agile experience is a plus.
- ✓Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, unstructured, dynamic environment; Start-up experience a plus.
- ✓Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
