About the Role
We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team at JumpCloud. This role focuses on ensuring product reliability and security for our cloud-based access platform. You will build automated test suites and refine BDD frameworks within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate cross-functionally to create comprehensive test plans and cases for Agile/Scrum workflows
- →Develop and execute both manual and automated tests using Python and Pytest for APIs and device components
- →Identify, document, and manage issues through Jira, advancing release candidates through the CI/CD pipeline
- →Work with QA and engineering teams to improve BDD automated testing
- →Participate in Agile team processes, focusing on frequent delivery of incremental value
- →Contribute to building secure, cloud-based access solutions
Requirements
- ✓3-6 years of experience in test planning, test case creation, manual and automated testing
- ✓Proficiency in testing SaaS applications and APIs
- ✓Hands-on programming and test framework development using Python and Pytest
- ✓Experience testing large-scale, cloud-based SaaS applications
- ✓Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Experience with operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android
