About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join Juniper Square, a company digitizing private markets. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive manual and automation testing efforts, focusing on product quality and end user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review technical design documents and API specifications to provide feedback on system testability
- →Work with development teams to identify test cases for automation
- →Design and execute complex test cases for backend systems
- →Develop comprehensive test suites for RESTful APIs
- →Maintain and extend backend automation frameworks
- →Contribute to development teams on best practices
- →Develop automated test result reports
- →Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs
- →Advocate for automation in testing processes
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- ✓4-6 years in Software Quality Assurance
- ✓Strong expertise in testing distributed systems, microservices, and backend APIs
- ✓Skilled in designing and maintaining automation frameworks for backend services
- ✓Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
- ✓Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Locust
- ✓Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle concepts
- ✓Experience creating comprehensive test plans and test cases
- ✓Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- ✓Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- ✓Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), test management tools (e.g., TestRail), and issue-tracking platforms (e.g., Jira)
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
