About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join Juniper Square, a company digitizing private markets to make them more accessible. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive manual and automation testing efforts, focusing on product quality and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review functional specifications and technical design documents
- →Work with development teams to identify test cases for automation
- →Design, develop, and execute test cases for product features and backend systems
- →Maintain automation frameworks like Playwright and Locust
- →Contribute to development teams on best practices and problem-solving
- →Develop automated test result reports and highlight quality risks
- →Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution
- →Advocate for automation and partner with engineering leads
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- ✓2-3.5 years in Software Quality Assurance, with focus on web applications
- ✓Proven experience in building and maintaining automated tests for web applications and/or APIs
- ✓Hands-on experience in manual testing of REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- ✓Good programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- ✓Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle concepts
- ✓Familiarity with version control systems, test management tools, and issue-tracking platforms
- ✓Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- ✓Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS
- ✓Experience in creating test plans, authoring test cases, and executing tests
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
