About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Lead for the Accounting Software team at Juniper Square. This role involves driving the team’s technical direction and designing Accounting Software systems. You will mentor team members and solve complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead design activities for API management and enterprise services
- →Enhance, build, and deliver enterprise-grade API products
- →Partner across multiple business functions and technical areas
- →Contribute to large-scale, complex projects
- →Own monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving production issues
- →Design and architect complex systems with the team
- →Lead and mentor a team of junior developers
- →Ensure high quality in team deliverables
- →Collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet project timelines
- →Perform code reviews to uphold high quality and standards
- →Provide technical support for stakeholder groups
- →Work closely with QA to maintain software quality
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- ✓7 to 10 years of experience in building, integration, security, and architecture
- ✓Previous experience of building enterprise-grade API
- ✓Previous experience of leading a team
- ✓Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) such as Python, Java
- ✓Experience with front end technologies like React, CSS frameworks, HTML and Javascript
- ✓Experience with Relational Databases like Postgres, MySQL
- ✓Experience with SQL database schema design and query optimization
- ✓Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and Container technologies (Docker and k8s)
- ✓Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server
- ✓Flexible and adaptable for a fast-paced startup environment
