About the Role
We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer to join our mobile engineering team at JustWatch. You'll be working on developing our TV and mobile apps, focusing on streaming capabilities, new feature development, and ensuring a stable experience for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Designers and Leadership to build engaging features across mobile and TV platforms
- →Implement and run A/B tests to validate hypotheses and roll out successful variants
- →Implement and fix tracking specifications to better understand user interaction and feature performance
- →Enhance reliability, accessibility, and performance for a multi-million user ecosystem
- →Build tools to monitor and optimise our global app infrastructure
- →Ensure a seamless experience across multiple platforms and various screen sizes
Requirements
- ✓Entrepreneurial Spirit: You have a side project (live or in development) or a strong entrepreneurial mindset
- ✓Technical Proficiency: Deep experience with React Native, TypeScript, and Expo, including native modules and running major version updates
- ✓Platform Expertise: Proven track record in developing TV Apps and working with streaming technologies
- ✓Design & Collaboration: Experience with UI/UX design (Figma) and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- ✓Ownership & Values: Desire to take full ownership of the TV App, commitment to constant learning, and excellent communication skills in English
