About the Role
We are looking for an IT Security Engineer to join our team at JYSK. This role focuses on enhancing our security operations and protecting our business across various technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Maintain, develop, and improve our security tool stack
- →Conduct post-incident reviews and ensure lessons learned translate to improving security tool stack configuration
- →Develop, fine-tune, and maintain detection use cases, SIEM/SOAR rules, and alerting mechanisms
- →Drive automation of security processes to increase speed and reduce manual effort in incident response
- →Build and maintain SOAR playbooks, scripts, and integrations with security tools
- →Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency in Security Operations
- →Provide technical expertise during security incidents, including log analysis, root cause investigation, and remediation support
Requirements
- ✓Hands-on experience developing XDR and EDR security technologies
- ✓Understanding of network protocols, endpoint behaviors, server behaviors and threat detection methodologies
- ✓Good knowledge of incident response processes and security frameworks
- ✓Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, bash, etc.)
- ✓Strong understanding of log sources, attack techniques, and detection methodologies
- ✓Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their security monitoring tools
- ✓Annual travel: Up to 20 days should be expected
