About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to focus on Engineering and Product-related data analytics. This role will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and preparing data from multiple sources to provide insights into software delivery, product performance, and SDLC processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Extract, clean, and integrate data from Engineering, Product, and business systems.
- →Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to visualize Engineering and Product metrics.
- →Translate raw data into actionable insights to support decision-making across the SDLC and Agile delivery lifecycle.
- →Collaborate with Engineering and Product stakeholders to define, refine, and align key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics and objectives.
- →Ensure data quality, integrity, and alignment across reporting solutions.
- →Document methodologies, assumptions, and data definitions to create consistency across engineering/product reporting.
- →Provide ad-hoc and deep-dive analysis to support product planning, governance, and engineering performance reviews.
Requirements
- ✓A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
- ✓5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within software engineering, product, or SDLC environments.
- ✓Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with various data sources.
- ✓Advanced skills in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports.
- ✓Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn large datasets into insights.
- ✓Familiarity of SDLC or Agile practices, including common engineering/product metrics.
- ✓Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- ✓Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
- ✓Experience with Python, R, or other statistical tools for advanced analytics is an asset.
