About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Data & Analytics team at Kitware. This role focuses on building web applications that help scientists, analysts, and researchers work with complex datasets across domains like healthcare, geospatial intelligence, and climate science.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build Python and TypeScript web applications for data management and analysis
- →Create interactive data visualization tools for large-scale scientific data
- →Contribute to open-source libraries and tools used across the scientific community
- →Work with large or complex scientific datasets to derive insights
- →Collaborate with researchers and domain experts on technical solutions
Requirements
- ✓Full-stack experience on modern web applications, with back-end depth in Python (Django or similar)
- ✓Comfort with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like Vue.js and React
- ✓Working knowledge of databases, REST APIs, and web security fundamentals
- ✓Experience with Git, continuous integration, and automated testing
- ✓U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to contractual restrictions
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3+ years of professional web development experience
