About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join the Kong team. This role focuses on supporting customers post-sales and helping them achieve successful adoption of Kong products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Engage with customers primarily through inbound requests
- →Support onboarding new customers by validating and identifying their needs
- →Drive adoption and implementation of Kong product features through demonstrations and workshops
- →Conduct periodic reviews of Kong implementation through health checks
- →Understand, advocate, and document the customer’s use case and roadmap
- →Work with customers to explore new use cases and expand API platform usage
- →Build active relationships with customers as their trusted technical advisor
- →Participate in renewal or expansion discussions for technical input
- →Manage customer escalations and accounts with Kong’s maturity model framework
Requirements
- ✓Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical issues
- ✓Practical working knowledge of APIs and microservices architectures
- ✓Previous experience with Kubernetes and Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- ✓Ability to tell stories with data to articulate business value
- ✓Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to represent the voice of the customer
- ✓Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems with minimal supervision
- ✓Experience managing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
