About the role We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager (Maritime) to enhance revenue growth within existing accounts across our MEA region. Key Responsibilities   • Manage and nurture relationships with accounts in the Maritime and Logistics sectors to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. • Initiate and lead discussions with key stakeholders, including directors and senior managers, to identify business needs and opportunities. • Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies. • Drive upselling initiatives by exploring opportunities within existing accounts, including new departments and services. • Collaborate with Account Development Representatives to leverage leads and insights from existing clients. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product offerings to effectively position the company’s solutions.   Requirements • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Account Manager selling SaaS, data, or tech solutions—maritime/shipping experience  strongly preferred; logistics or commodities sales experience also considered. • Proven success managing a book of business and consistently hitting retention and growth targets. • Strong upsell and cross-sell track record within complex accounts. • Experience working with clients in the Dubai market and understanding its commercial landscape (highly preferred). • Self-driven, disciplined, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Collaborative team player focused on long-term customer and business success. • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle complex commercial discussions. • Ability to translate complex client needs into clear, actionable solutions.
