About the Role
We are looking for a Data Quality Specialist to join our market data operations team at Kpler. This role involves ensuring the highest standard of data quality for commodity flows in dry bulk, helping clients navigate complex market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take charge of specific regions and product groups, ensuring data quality by reviewing internal constraints and ingesting data from external sources
- →Identify technology and process improvements to efficiently process data and improve accuracy of seaborne flows
- →Track market news and developments to extract meaningful patterns and detect new trends
- →Respond to ad-hoc client requests with rapid analysis and assist sales and customer success teams in meeting client data needs
Requirements
- ✓2-4 years of experience working with large, disparate and/or unstructured data sets
- ✓Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL and Python
- ✓Proven experience integrating data and working with databases
- ✓Prior experience in shipping and trading, with knowledge of dry bulk commodity preferred
- ✓Experience with tools such as JIRA, Postman, Tableau, Appsmith, Rundeck, and Slack
- ✓Willingness to learn, team player, quick learner, and able to work within short deadlines
- ✓Ability to work and communicate in an international cross-cultural environment
- ✓Comfortable working with ambiguity and uncovering answers to complex product development questions
