About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps & Node.js Engineer to join KTO Group, a rising leader in LATAM's iGaming industry. This hands-on role will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure and application backend.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and maintain the Terraform-managed GCP infrastructure including GKE, Cloud SQL, Memorystore Redis, and networking components
- →Manage Kubernetes cluster operations including deployments, autoscaling, and network policies
- →Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- →Monitor platform health and respond to incidents
- →Manage database operations including PostgreSQL administration and query optimization
- →Implement and maintain security controls across infrastructure and application layers
- →Plan and execute capacity management and disaster recovery procedures
- →Maintain and improve TypeScript/Node.js microservices
- →Address security vulnerabilities and implement proper error handling
- →Manage real-time WebSocket services for multiplayer game functionality
- →Ensure encryption standards meet regulatory requirements
Requirements
- ✓5+ years in a combined DevOps + backend engineering role
- ✓Strong Node.js (v18+) + TypeScript skills
- ✓Solid experience with Express.js and REST APIs
- ✓Hands-on PostgreSQL expertise
- ✓Working knowledge of Redis
- ✓Strong Terraform skills
- ✓Proven experience on Google Cloud Platform
- ✓Deep Kubernetes operations knowledge
- ✓Strong Docker experience
- ✓Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Strong security fundamentals
- ✓Monitoring/observability experience
- ✓Proficient with Git workflows
- ✓Comfortable with Linux administration
- ✓Ability to operate in regulated environments
