This role holds an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong financial expertise to contribute to our organisationβs success and growth in the Malaysian market. </span></p>

What youβll do

Lead the month-end closing cycle to ensure full alignment with IFRS and group policies, consistently delivering timely and accurate financial statements.

Oversee all statutory reporting and external audit lifecycles; act as a key liaison for headquarters during quarterly group audits to ensure seamless data flow and compliance.

Direct the finance team in executing core operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and other functions.

Ensure rigorous compliance with GST, withholding tax, corporate tax, secretarial requirements, and evolving gig-worker legislation.

Lead the development of robust internal controls and financial policies, significantly enhancing the efficiency and integrity of the organisationβs operations.

Partner with HQ to launch new products and features, integrating group-wide processes into local workflows.

Participate in ad-hoc projects, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to the company's success.
What we seek

Familiarity with accounting standards, tax laws, economic regulations, and internal control processes, with a preference for knowledge of IFRS

What youβll need

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
β’
Minimum of 4 years experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
