<p data-start="258" data-end="557">We are seeking a detail-oriented <strong data-start="291" data-end="317">Electrical BIM Modeler</strong> to support our commercial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate 2D and 3D models using <strong data-start="450" data-end="461">AutoCAD</strong> and <strong data-start="466" data-end="475">Revit</strong>, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring constructible, clash-free designs.</p>
<p data-start="559" data-end="731">The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction workflows, with the ability to translate design intent into precise, buildable models.</p>

Responsibilities
• Create and maintain detailed electrical models using AutoCAD and Revit
• Develop layout drawings for power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Produce coordinated BIM models for commercial construction projects
• Perform clash detection and coordination with other trades (mechanical, plumbing, structural)
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure constructability
• Generate shop drawings, installation details, and as-built documentation
• Maintain drawing standards, layering, and file organization
• Update models based on RFIs, change orders, and field conditions
• Assist in prefabrication planning and layout when applicable
• Participate in coordination meetings and communicate design issues proactively
Requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• Experience in electrical modeling for commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, low voltage)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and workflows
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
