About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our team in a manufacturing environment, preferably with aerospace or marine/boat manufacturing experience. This role involves component-level testing, troubleshooting, and supporting production, repair, and new product introduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead all production and repair test activities for assigned products
- →Design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing and troubleshooting methods
- →Prepare test and diagnostic programs
- →Design and develop test fixtures and equipment
- →Author and edit procedures through formal change management processes
- →Establish test plans in collaboration with operations teams
- →Transition test solutions between manufacturing sites
- →Present program status updates and continuous improvement initiatives
- →Provide regular performance and project updates to the Engineering Manager
- →Interface effectively with managers, technicians, and cross-functional teams
- →Support production build plans through hands-on technical leadership
Requirements
- ✓Test Engineering experience within a manufacturing company, preferably aerospace or marine/boat manufacturing
- ✓Proven experience performing troubleshooting and testing down to the component level
- ✓Strong analog and digital troubleshooting capabilities
- ✓Experience with software programming or diagnostics to aid in system troubleshooting
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical discipline)
- ✓Minimum 8 years of direct industry experience as an Engineer
- ✓Ability to work onsite
- ✓U.S. work authorization required
