Key Responsibilities
- →Design and evolve enterprise security architecture to protect sensitive data in compliance with federal laws and standards
- →Develop and implement Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) strategies aligned with federal guidance and maturity models
- →Create implementation roadmaps to address ZTA pillar requirements across service areas
- →Identify security capability gaps and evaluate new technologies to meet ZTA requirements
- →Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align ZTA implementation with broader IT roadmaps
- →Track ZTA implementation progress and maturity to ensure delivery within defined timelines
- →Develop and communicate cloud data security policies related to data handling, storage, and access
- →Research and evaluate advanced security technologies, including AI-driven threat detection and behavioral analytics
- →Provide architectural guidance that supports engineers and administrators implementing security controls
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- ✓8+ years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on security engineering and architecture
- ✓Demonstrated experience developing Zero Trust Architecture solutions for federal environments
- ✓Deep knowledge of cloud security architecture, administration, and design
- ✓Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment, and incident response
- ✓Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse technical teams
