THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer to join their growing team and make a significant impact on the success of every sales presentation and the company's continued growth. This role offers the chance to work with Fortune 500 enterprises, showcase cutting-edge AI-driven privacy technology, and contribute to protecting customer data worldwide while ensuring compliance with global privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and PIPL. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Evaluate prospective customer needs and uncover requirements for privacy governance solutions - Deliver compelling product demos to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders in sales meetings - Articulate the technical value proposition and key differentiating capabilities to prospective customers and partners - Prepare and present proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and respond to RFIs - Partner with Sales and Product Development teams to develop tailored enterprise solutions - Provide post-sales follow-up, technical training, and assist with post-implementation support - Lead and execute proof-of-concept (POC) efforts ensuring total customer satisfaction - Hold technical discussions and converse confidently with CIOs and CISOs - Develop technical architecture diagrams, flow charts, and documentation WHAT YOU BRING - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - 5-7+ years of experience supporting SaaS / Enterprise software sales - Proven ability to run software product demos and explain complex solutions clearly - Strong understanding of enterprise security and privacy requirements - Knowledge of IT Operations - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently with a results-focused mindset - Ongoing desire to learn and stay current with emerging technologies Technical Skills: - Knowledge and understanding of LAMP stack, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST APIs - Experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle), cloud instances, containers, NoSQL and other data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.) - Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) - Experience developing technical architecture diagrams, flow charts, and documentation Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of security technologies - Prior coding experience KEY SUCCESS DRIVERS - Technical Excellence: Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, privacy, and security technologies combined with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences - Customer-Centric Approach: Genuine passion for understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that drive business value - Executive Presence: Confidence and credibility to engage with C-level executives and hold technical discussions with senior IT leadership - Collaborative Spirit: Strong partnership skills to work effectively across Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success teams - Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve and learning is constant - Mission Alignment: Passion for data privacy and contributing to something that genuinely impacts people's lives WHY JOIN? - Competitive comp: $100,000–$130,000 per year + bonuses - 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage (includes employees and dependents) - 401(k) plan with company-paid life insurance - Tuition reimbursement and ongoing professional development support - Company-paid relocation assistance available - Hybrid flexibility: 2–3 days per week in office (Tysons, VA or Greenville, DE) - Start date: As soon as possible - Direct influence on product roadmap through customer feedback and technical insights - Mission-driven work: Your efforts directly protect customer privacy and help enterprises navigate one of the most complex regulatory landscapes in technology - Work with patented Hybrid AI technology that is disrupting the fast-growing data privacy industry - Join a fast-growing technology company with unlimited growth opportunities INTERVIEWING PROCESS (~2 WEEKS) - HR screening - Phone call with the Hiring Manager - On-site in the office - Reference and background check - Job offer to the selected candidate Note: Our client is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
