THE OPPORTUNITY As a Solutions Integration Engineer, you will step into a high-ownership role where you directly shape how AI is deployed and scaled across real-world businesses. You will work closely with the CTO and a senior engineering team, defining integration architecture, delivery approaches, and technical standards in a growing AI startup. This role lets you combine deep backend engineering with strategic, stakeholder-facing work, building integrations that are central to customers’ revenue operations and how large accounts and partners adopt AI at scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead end‑to‑end integration delivery - from scoping and design to development, testing, and deployment - ensuring all solutions meet business requirements and production‑ready standards - Collaborate with the Lead Engineer to manage the integration lifecycle: define requirements, structure and assign tasks, monitor execution, and achieve timely delivery - Architect and document integration solutions using Python, REST, gRPC, Kafka, Redis, Postman, and SQL, supported by UML, DFD, ERD, and BRD documentation - Oversee daily project operations by planning sprints, tracking progress, resolving blockers, and maintaining delivery momentum - Engage stakeholders to align goals, manage scope, and prevent deviations from agreed priorities. - Drive Agile/Scrum practices, facilitate ceremonies, maintain backlogs in YouTrack, and provide transparent reporting - Ensure system reliability post‑deployment through proactive monitoring with Grafana and other observability tools - Maintain accountability for all milestones by delivering results under pressure while upholding strict implementation and delivery standards - Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold a clean, consistent, high‑quality code base WHAT YOU BRING - 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience - 2+ years in project management or account-facing roles where you owned delivery - Strong technical toolkit including Python, REST, gRPC, UML, BRD, DFD, ERD, Postman, GAP analysis, CJM, SQL, Apache Kafka, and Redis - Background as an acting or former backend engineer - Experience working with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like YouTrack and Grafana - Proven stakeholder management and scope-control skills - Strong communication and time-management skills, consistently delivering results under tight deadlines and pressure - English language B2+ (both writing and speaking) - Fluency in Russian language - PMI, PMP, PSM, and PSPO certifications are a plus KEY ATTRIBUTES TO SUCCESS - Strong “get things done” mindset and ability to ship under tight deadlines - High autonomy and sense of ownership, comfortable making independent decisions - Strong communication skills and commitment to customer success - Passion for technology that changes how businesses operate WHY JOIN? - Base Compensation: $5,500-$7,500 USD per month (negotiable based on experience) - Employment Type: contract (1099) - Remote-first flexibility: fully remote role with working hours aligned to 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM UTC - High-impact role: your help determine how partners and customers realize value from AI employees, with clear revenue and performance outcomes attached to your work - Cutting-edge AI product: contribute to a platform that lets businesses and agencies deploy voice and chat AI employees in minutes across multiple channels and tools - Fast-moving startup environment: work in a lean, engineering-led organization that values speed, ownership, and pragmatic problem-solving over process for process’s sake - Join a company founded by proven entrepreneurs with a track record of building successful, globally-adopted technology solutions INTERVIEWING PROCESS - HR Screening - Level 1: 45-minute video interview with the Hiring Manager - Level 2: 60-minute technical interview - Level 3: 60-minute video interview with CTO - Reference and Background Checks: conducted after successful interviews - Job Offer: provided to the selected candidate We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity, or expression, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
