About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Product Engineering to join Lawhive, an AI-native consumer law firm that combines AI with human lawyers to make legal services accessible to everyone. This role involves shaping, leading, and evolving the entire engineering department, reporting directly to the CTO.
Key Responsibilities
- →Be the right-hand person to the CTO, supporting on technical strategy and architecture
- →Lead and mentor the engineering team, driving a high-performance, delivery-focused culture
- →Be an exceptional technical leader and architect of a complex international product
- →Lead on hiring to continuously level up the team through new exceptional talent
- →Keep the engineering machine running smoothly by setting structure, ways of working, and quality standards
- →Form strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Design, AI, Customer, and Sales teams
- →Be a key member of Lawhive SLT and help set the future business strategy as we scale globally
- →Have a player/coach mindset and be willing to get hands dirty with code
- →Formalise delivery management and evolve performance development processes
- →Encourage innovation and drive a product-minded culture leveraging AI to scale output
- →Ensure products evolve quickly and safely with best development, security, and testing practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- ✓Strong technical background with expertise in software architecture and development
- ✓Proven ability to drive technical strategy and innovation
- ✓Experience with cloud infrastructure and development tools
- ✓Excellent leadership and mentorship skills
