Summary
The Associate Product Manager (APM) β Refrigerator (REF) supports sales program execution, pricing strategy, and profitability management for the Refrigerator product category. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Management, and HQ to drive revenue growth, optimize promotional spend, and enhance market competitiveness within the REF business.
Responsibilities
β’ Manage annual Trade Terms (MDF/VIR) for Refrigerator channel partners
β’ Plan and execute weekly/monthly/quarterly promotions for REF products
β’ Monitor and optimize Refrigerator sales programs and partner performance
β’ Manage promotional accruals, deductions, and claims validation
β’ Ensure accuracy of pricing, promotions, and billing for REF SKUs
β’ Support monthly budget tracking, HQ submissions, and IFRS alignment
β’ Maintain REF pricing and promotional databases
β’ Conduct ROI analysis on Refrigerator promotions and MDF spend
β’ Analyze REF sell-in/sell-out trends and program effectiveness
β’ Evaluate pricing impact, price elasticity, and competitive positioning
β’ Develop reports on Refrigerator sales performance and deduction trends
β’ Partner with SPM and Sales to track market trends (pricing, volume, promotions)
β’ Support risk reviews and approval processes (VRB)
β’ Support REF product portfolio growth through project and bid management
β’ Conduct competitor benchmarking and SKU comparisons within Refrigerator category
β’ Partner with Sales on pricing updates, product launches, and customer programs
β’ Support rebate calculations and offer sheet development
β’ Act as key contact for REF-related program, pricing, and bid inquiries
β’ Develop pricing strategies for new Refrigerator models based on cost and market analysis
β’ Manage REF price sheets (MSRP, distributor pricing, bid pricing)
β’ Maintain pricing tools and ensure system accuracy (GERP, price registration)
β’ Support pricing approvals and escalation processes
β’ Create PTO models and support project-based pricing for REF deals
β’ Manage quotation pipeline for Refrigerator business opportunities
β’ Ensure accurate SKU selection, pricing, and deal structure
β’ Coordinate with operations teams on PO processing and order accuracy
β’ Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to resolve pricing, delivery, and order issues
β’ Support end-to-end execution of REF projects and customer opportunities
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
β’ 2β5 years of experience in sales operations, pricing, finance, or product management
β’ Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI and financial analysis
β’ Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/sales systems preferred
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
β’ Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience supporting Refrigerator or Home Appliance categories
β’ Knowledge of trade spend management (MDF, rebates, deductions)
β’ Experience working with global teams or HQ coordination
