About the Role
LI.FI is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development and scaling of our core off-chain coordination service. This critical infrastructure role involves building a secure, high-throughput system that manages the Intent lifecycle and enables robust cross-chain experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement highly available, low-latency APIs for application interaction and quote management
- →Develop rigorous validation mechanisms to ensure data integrity and prevent fraudulent activity
- →Build infrastructure for real-time broadcasting of critical data to external partners
- →Integrate with data indexing services to track system object lifecycles across distributed environments
- →Implement advanced logic for data aggregation, caching, and partner reputation
- →Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities in the off-chain coordination flow
- →Collaborate with Smart Contract and Product teams
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of backend development experience with high-throughput services
- ✓Expert proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and NestJS framework
- ✓Deep understanding of blockchain data and security primitives
- ✓Experience with real-time communication systems (WebSockets, Redis)
- ✓Solid experience with relational databases and query optimization
- ✓Strong system design skills for fault-tolerant microservices
- ✓Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- ✓Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
