The Senior Product Manager is primarily responsible for leading the strategy and execution of a full product and is seen as a key leader within their team. They define product outcomes in collaboration with leadership, drive discovery and delivery, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve meaningful results. The Senior Product Manager develops into an expert on their product, users, data, and key workflows. This role uses both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, working closely with data partners to uncover insights and track success. The Senior Product Manager also mentors junior Product Managers informally and is a trusted contributor to product direction and culture within the team.

What You'll Do
Lead Product Strategy & Discovery
• Define and own the product strategy for a specific product or experience area.
• Lead discovery efforts to deeply understand user problems and opportunities.
• Conduct and synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
• Evaluate product ideas through the lens of value, viability, feasibility, and usability.
Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration Across Peers and Teams
• Partner with design and engineering throughout product development to ensure solutions are desirable, viable, and buildable.
• Align product priorities with organizational and team goals.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate working sessions and team rituals to drive clarity and collaboration.
Drive Data Informed Decision Making
• Define and track product success metrics and KPIs.
• Use experimentation, data analysis, and feedback loops to evaluate solutions.
• Work with data teams to explore trends, validate hypotheses, and make outcome oriented decisions.
Own Execution & Delivery to Support Team Priorities
• Translate product strategy into actionable plans, roadmaps, and backlogs.
• Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage prioritization and trade offs based on technical feasibility and user impact.
• Ensure product solutions are delivered on time, at quality, and with impact.
• Own product execution and delivery, working closely with engineering to plan sprints, monitor progress, coordinate cross team dependencies, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Provide Leadership and Mentorship to Product Managers
• Mentor junior Product Managers informally through pairing, feedback, and process guidance.
• Model excellent product practices across discovery, delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
• Act as the product expert, deeply understand the product, its users, and its ecosystem.
Skills Needed to Succeed
• Strong product discovery, strategy, and delivery expertise.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Mentorship-minded and collaborative—invests in team and product culture.
• Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive; comfortable operating with autonomy.
• Adept at navigating complexity, ambiguity, and trade-offs.
• Strong data fluency—able to partner with analysts and use insights to drive decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5-8 years of product management experience.
• Experience leading product initiatives from start to finish.
