About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join YouVersion, a ministry of Life.Church that builds technology to help people connect with God. You'll develop and maintain features within the YouVersion Family of Apps, writing clean, scalable code that makes a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- βTake ownership of tasks from concept to deployment
- βWrite and review clean, maintainable code
- βBuild and run tests to ensure feature reliability
- βDebug and solve technical issues to keep apps running smoothly
- βCollaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to develop meaningful features
Requirements
- βExperience with languages like Dart, Swift, JavaScript, or Python
- βAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
- βStrong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration
- βSelf-motivation and ability to manage tasks independently
- βPassion for using technology to help people grow spiritually
- β1-3 years in software development; degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
