About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team at Lighthouse, a company disrupting commercial strategy for the hospitality industry. This role focuses on expanding our market share in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities
- →Source potential client opportunities via cold calling, email campaigns, and professional industry network groups
- →Focus on the Australian market, targeting opportunities and building client relationships
- →Respond to incoming product enquiries, referrals, and leads in a timely and effective manner
- →Organize face-to-face or online product demonstrations and advanced training sessions
- →Keep track of existing client base and generate new sales by upselling products
- →Contract negotiation to maintain optimal service, value for clients, and Lighthouse's profit margins
- →Help build and adjust the vision for the sales team
- →Attend meetings, conferences, and organize regional road shows as required
- →Provide client feedback to the Product Development team
- →Keep track of efforts in our CRM system and achieve KPIs and targets
Requirements
- ✓Degree or diploma in a relevant field (Hospitality, Business, Communication, Economics, or similar), or equivalent professional experience
- ✓2-3+ years in sales or business development, ideally in hospitality tech or SaaS
- ✓Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- ✓History of meeting or exceeding sales targets and strong pipeline management skills
- ✓Passionate about travel and sharing the Lighthouse values
- ✓Hunter mentality: skilled at generating leads, building pipelines, and delivering tailored presentations/webinars
- ✓Self-starter with a growth mindset
- ✓Fluent in English
- ✓Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is preferred
