About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team at Lighthouse, a company disrupting commercial strategy for the hospitality industry. This role focuses on expanding our market share in the Portuguese market.
Key Responsibilities
- →Source potential client opportunities via cold calling, email campaigns, and professional industry network groups
- →Focus on the Portuguese market, targeting opportunities and building client relationships
- →Respond to all incoming product enquiries, referrals, and leads in a timely and effective manner
- →Organize face-to-face or online product demonstrations and advanced training sessions
- →Keep track of existing client base and generate new sales by upselling products
- →Contract negotiation, maintaining a balance between optimal service, value for the client, and Lighthouse's profit margins
- →Build and execute a business development plan to achieve business aims and sales targets
- →Attend meetings, (inter)national conferences, and organize regional road shows as required
- →Provide client feedback to the Product Development team
- →Keep track of efforts in our CRM system and achieve KPIs and targets
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, Economics, or other relevant fields
- ✓Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in business development (full sales cycle) in a SaaS company, preferably in hospitality
- ✓Passion for the travel industry
- ✓Hunter mentality: ability to find, solicit, and drive new business
- ✓Comfortable presenting and promoting products via webinars and tutorials
- ✓Passionate about our products and tailor pitch to audience's needs
- ✓Self-starter: pose new ideas and process improvements for sales process
- ✓Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems and related sales tools
- ✓Fluent in English and Portuguese, any additional language is a plus
