About the Role
We are looking for a talented Chip Firmware Engineer to join Lightmatter, a company revolutionizing AI data center infrastructure. You will help build the next generation of photonic AI processors and interconnects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define control plane architecture for photonic interconnect products
- →Participate in reliability testing for photonic products
- →Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems using tools like GDB, JTAG, and logic analyzers
- →Engage with customers to gather requirements and usability criteria
Requirements
- ✓BS and 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- ✓Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related technical field
- ✓Experience with firmware development using Python, C, C++ & MongoDB
- ✓Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
- ✓Practical knowledge of communication and control in embedded systems
- ✓Experience with commercial/enterprise-level software and firmware on Linux
- ✓Experience with Git and CMake for building and managing software projects
- ✓Hands-on experience with data gathering, analysis & reporting
- ✓Experience with ASIC firmware reliability engineering
- ✓Knowledge of DataCenter administration capabilities using CMIS, OpenBMC and DMTF
