About the Role

We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to join LinkedIn's Data Infrastructure team. This visionary role will shape the future of LinkedIn’s infrastructure by tackling complex technical challenges and developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance the platform for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop a comprehensive understanding of LinkedIn's infrastructure, focusing on Data Infrastructure and partner infrastructure in Core and AI teams
→Lead and facilitate cross-functional technical discussions to align product and technology strategies
→Define and drive technical strategies and roadmaps that translate business requirements into robust architecture and technology plans
→Design and architect highly scalable, resilient, and distributed systems to support Data Infrastructure objectives
→Establish and advocate for best practices, design patterns, and quality standards
→Identify and address gaps in the current infrastructure by recommending and implementing migration strategies
→Work closely with infrastructure users to understand user experience and set the vision and technical direction
→Mentor and guide senior engineering talent, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and technical excellence
→Help drive an understanding of AI and a culture of AI adoption
→Represent LinkedIn as a thought leader by publishing technical papers and presenting at conferences
→Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure supports LinkedIn's business goals
→Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies
→Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards

Requirements

✓Deep expertise in Data Infrastructure, Platforms, and AI
✓Experience in leading cross-functional technical discussions
✓Strong background in defining technical strategies and roadmaps
✓Proven ability to design and architect scalable, resilient, and distributed systems
✓Knowledge of best practices, design patterns, and quality standards
✓Experience in recommending and implementing migration strategies for legacy systems
