About the Role
We are looking for a Trust Incident Manager to join LinkedIn's Trust Incident Management team. This role focuses on protecting LinkedIn's professional community from fraud, abuse, and emerging threats. You will design and implement defenses against sophisticated attacks targeting a billion-member platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Orchestrate the response to large-scale, sophisticated attacks, defining investigation directions and coordinating workstreams across teams
- →Design and build scalable detection and mitigation systems that operate 24x7
- →Create and champion analytical research approaches and automation to strengthen defense posture
- →Drive cross-team consensus on defense trade-offs using data to navigate competing concerns
- →Serve as incident commander for complex attacks, maintaining investigation quality under pressure
- →Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team
Requirements
- ✓Experience in incident management or threat detection
- ✓Strong technical background with ability to design and implement complex systems
- ✓Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during incidents
- ✓Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data scientists, investigators, and engineers
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Experience with security systems and threat detection mechanisms
- ✓Ability to balance immediate incident response with long-term defense strategy
- ✓Leadership experience guiding technical teams and mentoring junior staff
