About the Role
We are looking for bilingual freelancers to help evaluate the quality of Chinese translations of Korean song lyrics. This role requires reviewing translated lyrics to ensure meaning, tone, and cultural context are accurately preserved.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review Chinese translations of Korean song lyrics line by line
- →Identify and flag translations that introduce offensive, harmful, or culturally inappropriate language
- →Check whether the core meaning of the original lyrics is preserved
- →Flag issues related to clarity, readability, or tone
- →Submit evaluations through the project platform
Requirements
- ✓Native or near-native fluency in Chinese
- ✓Strong proficiency in Korean
- ✓Good understanding of cultural nuances, idioms, and lyrical language
- ✓Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate translation quality
- ✓Ability to work independently and follow project guidelines
- ✓Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA is a plus
- ✓Interest in music, lyrics, or language is highly valued
