About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Engineer to join Loft Orbital’s business development efforts. This role will act as the technical translator between customers and internal engineering teams, owning technical customer engagements from initial discussions through contract signature.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead customer conversations in English, translating mission needs into technical requirements
→Understand Loft Orbital’s technical solution ecosystem including satellite platforms and mission services
→Evaluate customer design and interface requirements for physical and on-demand missions
→Drive development of customer-specific technical solutions
→Own technical proposal content including preliminary architectures and mission analyses
→Act as the primary coordination point between Business Development and Engineering

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in systems engineering, mission operations, or aerospace engineering
✓Experience with satellite payloads, mission planning, and CONOPS
✓Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in English
✓Experience working across functions in fast-paced organizations
✓Strong systems-level thinking with ability to understand new architectures
✓Proven ability to drive structure and clarity in technical discussions
✓Comfortable operating in modern tools and internal systems
✓Passion for the commercial space industry
