About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Integration) to join our specialist Integration Engineering team at Lovehoney Group, the world’s leading sexual wellbeing company. This role is suitable for an early-career engineer with commercial experience looking to grow in a supportive environment, or a developing engineer ready to expand their exposure to distributed systems, integrations, and event-driven architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- →Implement integration services and features using Node.js
- →Work with event-driven architectures and REST APIs for data access
- →Develop and maintain integrations supporting high-volume eCommerce order flows
- →Write clean, well-structured, and testable code, including unit and integration tests
- →Investigate and resolve issues using logs and observability tooling
- →Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives
- →Collaborate with other engineers, QA, and adjacent platform teams
- →Gradually build familiarity with Salesforce Order Management APIs and data models used in B2C transaction flows
Requirements
- ✓Commercial experience using TypeScript and Node.js
- ✓Understanding of REST APIs and backend service development
- ✓Familiarity with modern software engineering principles (clean code, testing, version control)
- ✓Willingness to learn about distributed systems and integration patterns
- ✓Ability to work collaboratively within an agile team environment
