About LumiMeds
LumiMeds is a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth startup focused on weight management and long-term metabolic health. We are building the next generation of e-commerce and clinical infrastructure from the ground up.
As an early-stage company, we move quickly, operate with limited layers, and expect high ownership from every team member. There is no bureaucracy here β decisions happen fast, priorities evolve, and builders thrive.
We are a remote-first, globally distributed team that values clarity, accountability, and people who take initiative rather than wait for direction.
Seniority: Senior (Individual Contributor)
Role Overview
LumiMeds is a high-growth telehealth platform building the next generation of virtual telehealth infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior AI-First QA Engineer in South America / Mexico / Poland to lead the quality assurance strategy across our critical patient, provider, and growth platforms.
We are not looking for a traditional manual tester. We need a highly technical SQA who operates as a force multiplier by integrating AI into the testing lifecycle, while also possessing a deep understanding of business goals and marketing funnels. You will leverage LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools (like Cursor and Copilot), and automated workflows to generate test scripts and identify edge cases. Crucially, you will ensure our platforms remain highly reliable, performant, and perfectly aligned with our user acquisition and conversion strategies.
Core Technical Domains
You will own the quality and testing architecture for our critical healthcare and business systems:
β’ E-commerce & Conversion Funnels: Ensuring flawless execution of our high-conversion storefronts, complex product catalogs, and dynamic pricing engines.
β’ Marketing & Growth Tech: Validating the integration of marketing pixels, analytics
events, and automated patient engagement workflows to ensure business data integrity.
β’ EMR & Clinical Data Engine: Testing high-availability Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems handling complex patient history.
β’ Virtual Care Infrastructure: Verifying real-time interfaces, including WebRTC video and secure messaging flows.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Business & Marketing QA: Test and validate front-end consumer journeys, ensuring that marketing tracking (e.g., UTM parameters, conversion pixels, analytics dashboards) fires correctly and seamlessly hands off to the clinical engine.
β’ AI-Augmented Test Automation: Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (using Playwright or Cypress) while utilizing LLMs to automatically generate test cases, edge-case scenarios, and boilerplate code.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management and Marketing teams to understand business requirements, ensuring that technical testing strategies directly support revenue growth and user retention.
β’ Synthetic Data Generation: Create AI-driven scripts to safely generate complex, anonymized synthetic healthcare data to test state machines without compromising patient privacy.
β’ CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Embed automated testing seamlessly into GitHub Actions, ensuring that every deployment is rigorously tested for regressions.
Required Hard Skills & AI Stack
β’ Test Automation Mastery: Expert-level experience with modern testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress) and API testing tools.
β’ Business & MarTech Literacy: Strong understanding of e-commerce business logic, customer acquisition funnels, and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or Meta Conversions API)
β’ AI Tool Integration: Proven experience using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or direct API integrations with OpenAI/Anthropic to accelerate test writing and automate QA workflows
β’ Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
Candidate Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of professional software quality assurance or SDET experience.
β’ Commercial Mindset: You don't just test if a button works; you test if the button achieves its business purpose within the user journey.
β’ High Agency: Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and make high-leverage decisions without constant supervision.
β’ Communication: Professional proficiency in English for high-quality technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Operational Alignment: Maintain a synchronous, high-velocity schedule alongside the core team (9:00 AM β 7:00 PM PDT, Monday through Friday).
Why Join LumiMeds?
β’ Tech-First Culture: We value engineering excellence and encourage the use of cutting-edge AI tools to solve problems faster.
β’ High Complexity: Work on "hard" engineering problems involving real-time data and high-stakes reliability.
β’ Direct Impact: Your work will directly affect patient outcomes and the efficiency of healthcare providers.
