The Role
Weβre hiring a Head of Sales to lead revenue growth at Lyrebird.
Our platform is already used daily by thousands of clinicians. As adoption continues to accelerate across Australia, weβre looking for a sales leader who can build a high-performing team and scale a predictable revenue engine.
Youβll be responsible for leading the SMB sales organisation, driving consistent revenue growth, and building the systems, coaching, and culture that allow the team to perform at a high level. Youβll work closely with leadership to shape our go-to-market strategy while remaining deeply involved in deals, pipeline, and team development.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building, improving how a team sells, developing strong salespeople, and scaling a sales organisation that delivers real impact in healthcare.

Lyrebird is building a category-defining clinical AI platform used daily by frontline clinicians. Our products reduce administrative burden, improve documentation quality, and help clinicians focus on the patient in front of them.

What Youβll Do
β’ Own the sales number and lead the team to consistently achieve revenue targets.
β’ Build, lead, and scale the SMB sales team across Australia, including hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing salespeople.
β’ Define and execute the sales strategy to drive predictable pipeline growth and strong conversion through the funnel.
β’ Create a high-performance sales culture with clear expectations, accountability, and strong coaching.
β’ Improve pipeline quality, conversion rates, and forecasting accuracy through disciplined pipeline management.
β’ Work closely with Marketing to ensure the team has strong pipeline generation and clear messaging.
β’ Partner with RevOps to ensure systems, reporting, and data support effective decision-making and forecasting.
β’ Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to ensure strong customer outcomes and feedback from the field informs product development.
β’ Stay close to deals and the market - supporting key opportunities, refining the sales motion, and continuously improving how the team sells.
What Youβll Bring
β’ Experience leading and scaling B2B SaaS sales teams.
β’ A track record of owning and consistently achieving revenue targets.
β’ Strong sales leadership skills - including hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
β’ Deep understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance metrics.
β’ The ability to build structure and process while maintaining speed and momentum.
β’ Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align teams and create clarity around goals and expectations.
β’ A hands-on mindset - comfortable being involved in deals, pipeline reviews, and rep development.
β’ Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success.
β’ Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Gong, Aircall, or similar sales tools is helpful but not essential.
