About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join MaintainX, a leading mobile-first workflow management platform for industrial and frontline workers. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating public-facing REST APIs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and great developer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and operate MaintainX’s public-facing REST APIs
- →Implement platform standards and patterns for authentication, rate limiting, versioning, and more
- →Design and implement robust batch and bulk API operations
- →Decouple the REST API layer from monolithic dependencies
- →Build scaffolding, templates, and shared libraries for connector/integration development
- →Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation
- →Produce strong developer documentation and reference implementations
- →Contribute to infrastructure and workflows for integrations
- →Enable automation-driven onboarding flows
- →Build standardized integration foundations for enterprise systems
- →Ensure integrations meet enterprise expectations around security and performance
- →Own production services and platform components end-to-end
- →Drive performance tuning and reliability improvements
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend systems, APIs, or platform products
- ✓Strong experience with service-oriented backend development and one of TypeScript, Go, or C#
- ✓Strong experience working with relational databases including schema design and query optimization
- ✓Solid foundation in distributed systems fundamentals
- ✓Experience shipping production-grade APIs with a focus on developer experience
- ✓Strong testing mindset and hands-on CI/CD experience
- ✓Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, and customer-facing teams
