About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join Matillion, the intelligent data integration platform. This pivotal, hands-on technical role will be instrumental in building and securing our entire cloud infrastructure, including emerging AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

→Secure all cloud infrastructure from both a deployment and detection standpoint
→Drive security enhancements and implement new controls across cloud and SaaS infrastructure
→Contribute to raising the security bar for our emerging AI workloads
→Implement new detections for emerging threats through threat intelligence analysis and automation
→Serve as a first responder to security incidents, triaging and validating events

Requirements

✓Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
✓Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation
✓Experience in building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Cloud Formation Template
✓Proven ability to manage core security tools (CNAPP, CSPM, EDR, SOAR, SIEM)
✓Prior experience in responding to security alerts and incidents in fast-paced environments
